The MGM Grand is located in the heart of Las
Vegas at the corner of Tropicana and Las
Vegas Blvd., better known as the "Las Vegas Strip".
The MGM Grand is a virtual "City of
Entertainment" unto itself. Built upon a huge
scale that few resort casinos in Las Vegas can match.
No other casino in Las Vegas can offer as many
entertainment venues as the MGM Grand. The MGM Grand's
Las Vegas "Hollywood Theatre" hosts major performing
acts on most nights of the week. Their special
effects musical spectacular, "EFX Alive" runs six nights
a week, and their Grand Garden Arena hosts sports events
and musical superstars. Studio 54, a re-creation
of the classic New York Disco offers music and dancing
until the early morning hours. Another great
attraction at this spectacular resort is the famous
"Lion Habitat". Other onsite amenities include a
full service day spa, a wedding chapel, and of course, a
large pool area.

Guest rooms at the MGM grand are more luxurious
than the Las Vegas norm. Emerald Tower rooms have a
casually warm, art deco décor and ceramic tile
bathrooms. The larger Grand Tower rooms are 450
square feet in area, classically decorated and equipped
with custom, black & white marble bathrooms.
24-hour room service is available for those guests that
wish to dine in the privacy of their room. With
restaurants from celebrity chefs like Wolfgang Puck,
Mark Miller and Emeril Lagasse, the MGM Grand is a
culinary landmark in Las Vegas. With a total of
eight fine-dining restaurants, five casual restaurants,
and three cafes, there is something for every appetite
at the MGM Grand. A complimentary monorail
shuttles guests to Bally's further up the Strip.
This magnificent casino is highly recommended
by Las Vegas Hotels.

The Grand Pool complex is the
most elegant swimming and sunbathing experience in the
world. The area features five swimming pools, three
large whirlpools, a relaxing river, lush tropical
landscaping, bridges, fountains and waterfalls. The
complex is open year round with a minimum of one pool
and one whirlpool available 7 days a week.

MGM Grand is home to Las Vegas'
hottest nightclub, Studio 54, featuring state-of-the-art
sound, video and lighting, live dancers, wall walkers
and chart-topping dance music. The
22,000-square-foot nightclub offers four dance floors
and bars, an exclusive area on the second floor for
invited guests, and several semi-private lounges capable
of accommodating up to 400 people. In celebration of the
original Studio 54, the nightclub features a gallery of
black and white celebrity photographs taken by paparazzo
Felice Quinto at New York City's original Studio 54,
which defined '70s pop culture with its eclectic
artwork, dramatic fashion and stylish attitude.
The Las Vegas entertainment
scene changed forever when the MGM Grand introduced the
Grand Garden Arena, a 17,157-seat special events center,
home of mega concerts, championship boxing and premier
sporting and special events. Barbra Streisand, during
her first concert in more than 20 years, opened the
Grand Garden Arena on Dec. 31, 1993 in conjunction with
the grand opening of the MGM Grand. Other prominent
performances to date include Evander Holyfield vs. Mike
Tyson I and George Foreman vs. Michael Moorer, both
world heavyweight championship fights; The Rolling
Stones, Elton John, Bette Midler, Gloria Estefan, Janet
Jackson, Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Backstreet Boys, 'N
Sync, Boyz II Men, Sting, Jimmy Buffett, The Bee Gees,
Neil Diamond, Reba McEntire, and the Barbra Streisand
Millennium Concert, just to name a few. The Grand Garden
Arena is also home to the annual FOX Billboard Music
Awards (1998, 1998, 1997), Andre Agassi's Grand Slam for
Children Benefit (1995-1998) and ESPN's 2000 ESPY
Awards.
